Destination: Caribbean for Father’s Day Weekend

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

It’s Father’s Day this Sunday and what better way to enjoy the weekend and kick off summer than going away on a trip to the Caribbean! There are many events happening this weekend in Trinidad and Tobago, the British Virgin Islands, Martinique and more. Chartering a yacht to the Caribbean is definitely the most luxurious way to explore the many islands. Whether you’re spending a romantic weekend with your significant other or bringing the whole family, a yacht charter is a luxurious vacation you’ll never forget.

On Trinidad and Tobago, it’s the middle of Leatherback turtle season where visitors can come watch the magnificent endangered creatures come to shore to lay their eggs. On Saturday, June 19th and Sunday, June 20th the Trinidad and Tobago Sailing Association is hosting a mini regatta in Hart’s Cut Bay, Chaguaramas.

If you’re staying for a while in the British Virgin Islands, be sure to experience the legendary Fireball Full Moon Party. During the full moon each month, sailors gather at Trellis Bay on Beef Island to celebrate the full moon. Trellis Bay is a beautiful, serene anchorage which makes it the perfect spot to view the full moon.

There’s no better way to experience the pristine waters of the Caribbean than by yacht. Atlantic Yacht and Ship offers yacht charters to the Caribbean and will work with your budget to cover the entire yacht, fully crewed, for one week. Many of the vessels offer inclusive rates that include food and beverage onboard. Larger motor yachts offer cost, plus expenses rates for greater flexibility in your menu and itinerary planning.

Take a Luxury Yacht Charter and Tee Off in the Carribbean

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

One of the most memorable vacations anyone could enjoy is a Caribbean yacht charter adventure.  Endless amounts of islands are available for exploration, from the U.S. Virgin Islands to the British Virgin Islands; Cayman Islands, Upper & Lesser Antilles including St. Maarten, St. Barths, St. Kitts, Anguilla, Martinique, St. Vincent,  Trinidad and Tobago and more.

This holiday in the Caribbean, luxury yacht charter customers who would like to enjoy a round or two of golf while out to sea must visit Anguilla, a small island neighboring St. Kitts & Nevis, the Virgin Islands, Antigua & Barbuda.  This tiny island is preparing for December 19th, when it re-opens its first and only golf course for the season.

In 2008 the course was forced to close after financial issues surrounding the course’s owner’s resort business, but it’s ready for visitors once again.  Greg Norman designed this $50 million Temenos Golf Course, which will be managed by a new resort, which will help prevent the course from facing an uncertain future once again.

Previously, fees to play were $400, but have been reduced to $225.  Also offered is a discount for twilight rounds and for long-time residents of St. Maarten and Anguilla.

Green fees have also been reduced from around $400 to $225, while discounts are available for twilight rounds, as well as long-time residents of Anguilla and St Maarten.

After golfing, if you are seeking a romantic luxurious getaway, the resort on Peter Island is easily the most beautiful Caribbean resorts found.
