Yacht Interiors by Shelley added the most tasteful touches in every area of this fine vessel, creating a sophisticated, yet inviting ambience. Camphor-burl gloss cherry cabinetry, Boyd Pacific Heights sconces along both walls, and Boyd Palos Verdes light fixtures in the suede-based, quilted diamond overhead increase the feeling of space, which is further accented by the 7'2" of headroom .
King Baby’s galley is outfitted with GE appliances and Larbrodite Blue Australian granite countertops. An eight-person, platinum-glazed dining table is located in the forward end of the saloon with custom lighting to complement the space. A fine example of the decorator’s artistic prowess shows in the dayhead where the fine Renaissance Glassworks custom crystal sink is mounted on emperadora dark marble.
A 60-inch-diameter Jacuzzi tub, gloss-teak bar with star inlays, and retractable sunroof all add to a relaxing ambiance.
King Baby is outfitted her with a pair of nine-square-foot Naiad stabilizers. A 19-inch keel is also part of the hand-laid fiberglass hull, which features a foam-cored, resin-infused stringer system. Hargrave claims a top speed of 21 knots and a cruise speed of 18 knots. At 12 knots, this 220,000-pound (wet) vessel has a range of 1,000 miles, which will take guests anywhere in the Bahamas without having to refuel. Twin 40-kW Phasor gensets should provide all the power they need for overnight anchoring. As for shoreside excursions, they can be made with the PWC or the 16-foot Nautica tender.
